TEGAM, Inc. Approved for A2LA Accreditation

TEGAM, Inc. is pleased to announce that the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) has approved TEGAM, Inc. in the Calibration filed for the calibrations identified in our Scope of Accreditation as specified on our Certificate Number 2018.01. A2LA has accredited TEGAM, Inc. for technical competence in the field of Calibration. This accreditation covers the specific calibrations listed on the agreed scope of accreditation, Certificate Number 2018.01.

TEGAM, Inc. meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 – 1999 “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories”. Calibration laboratories that comply with this International Standard also operate in accordance with ISO 9001 or ISO 9002 (1994). TEGAM, Inc. also meets the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540 – 1 – 1994 and any additional program requirements in the field of calibrations.

TEGAM, Inc. has always strived toward providing our customers with the highest possible level of Quality, Service and Reliability. Our accreditation by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation is representative of these efforts and is yet another visible step for our customers to see in this continual quality improvement process. National Association for Proficiency Testing

The National Association for Proficiency Testing (NAPT) is a third party non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the metrology and testing community in meeting the growing demand for proficiency testing. Proficiency testing is part of the requirement that is being driven by laboratory accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 – 1999, “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories”. Participation in proficiency testing is a valuable continuous quality improvement tool allowing the participant to gain insight into your measurement processes that translates into improved performance and enhanced measurement quality.

Utilization of NAPT by TEGAM, Inc. allows our organization to receive unbiased analysis of measurement processes to enhance our awareness of our technical competence and data integrity. This very important feedback allows TEGAM, Inc. to provide you, our customer, with the best possible integrity and confidence in our calibration techniques and data.
